Cap'n Merritt is one of the main antagonists of Aiiro No Kunoichi. Merritt is a pirate who works under the guise of being a normal sailor.

Loud and boisterous, Cap'n Merritt is very full of himself. He loves to tell stories, most of which are probably not entirely true.
About Cap'n Merritt
Don't be fooled by his outgoing personality—Cap'n Merritt is the captain of a deadly band of pirates, working cleverly under the guise of being normal sailors who deal with international cargo shipment. With dogged persistence and frightening skill, he and his crew are widely feared across the seven seas.
Despite this, Cap'n Merritt cares deeply for his family and crew, valuing their wellbeing above even the treasure he works so hard to collect. He often brings trinkets from his voyages back home to his wife, without telling her how he got them.
