Plot Synopsis
Jikyuu Haru arrives back at Maple Valley High School, where she ponders how she's going to find Yellow Lightning among all of her classmates, if she even is one of her classmates. She concludes that there's not much to do besides hope that she turns up at some point.
Teinei Takushubi, meanwhile, arrives back home, where he discovers that his wife Kietsu has been worried sick about him. Apparently she'd heard about the explosions at the Zenjimu Complex from the news, and was worried that Teinei had died. He expresses remorse for worrying her so much, and starts to question his villainous actions... only for this train of thought to be immediately halted by the Darkness.
Back at Maple Valley, Jikyuu discovers, to her horror, that local bully Aijou Aki has the yellow necklace indicative of Yellow Lightning. Though frightened by the thought of a superpowered bully, Jikyuu concludes that she has no other choice but to tell Aijou about the Niji Chikara.
Thanks to a note left by Jikyuu, Aijou meets up with her in the gym after school. Though Aijou is initially uninterested in pursuing a "stupid superhero fantasy," Jikyuu convinces her that it's too important to just ignore, so Aijou decides to try out her transformation necklace to confirm the truth of Jikyuu's story. Deciding that her magical girl form is pretty cool, actually, Aijou agrees to come with Jikyuu to meet the others. Jikyuu has mixed feelings about this, but nonetheless relays the information to Yukai via text.
Back at the Takushubi residence, Teinei lies on his bed, contemplating his troubling situation. In a fit of anger, he concludes that he needs to become stronger if he is to face the Niji Chikara again... only for this thought to be interrupted by his daughter Jin entering the room, giving him a hug and saying that she'd also heard the news and was glad that he's okay. Teinei tiredly repeats that yes, he's okay, and that he's sorry for worrying her.
